Aaron M. Snavely, 34, of Utica died Oct. 24, 2010, in Homewood.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mueller and Pagani Funeral Home, La Salle with pastor Betty Delgado officiating.
Burial will be at Peru City Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 30, 1976 in San Diego, Calif., to Barry and Margaret (Powell) Snavely.
He was a graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School and worked as a millwright for 15 years.
He was a member of Millwright Local Union 2158 of Bettendorf, Iowa.
He is survived by his parents, Barry (Loretta Glynn) Snavely of Peru and Margaret (Roger) Bauer of Utica;
one son, Henry Aaron Snavely of La Salle;
one sister, Lisa (Jason) Kozell of Hollowayville;
maternal grandmother Irene Powell of La Salle;
paternal grandmother Grace Snavely of Rochester, N.Y.;
two stepsisters, Tina (Dan) Denny of Mackinaw and Tricia (Justin) Dirks of La Salle;
fiancée Buffy Ough of La Salle and nieces, nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a trust to be established for his son, Henry.
