She was a native of Franklin County, Ala.; former owner of Curly Top Beauty Shop and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by parents Lewis L. and Flossie Wood Bishop, husband Hurshel Lee Houser and brother Ezra L. Bishop.
Survivors include daughters Charlotte Houser of Lawrenceburg and Gwen Houser of Franklin, son Ronnie Houser of Lanexa, Va.; sister Vera Mae Shaw of Lawrenceburg, Venora L. Bassham of Killen, Ala., Ima Dee Meadows of Donelson, Tenn., and sister Letha Wood Cross of Bartonville, Ill.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
