Daughter of Alexander William Douglass (b. 1755, Scotland, d. 1792, Kentucky) and Jane Moore (b. 1764, Pennsylvania, d. 1830, Missouri)

First husband was John Wesley Wright, and they had two sons- John Angel Wright and George Douglass Wright (whom later named a son after his father).
John Wesley Wright left to settle his father's estate in Richmond (prob VA, but maybe KY) and vanished. Jane "Jennie" Douglass Wright then married John Culley 4 Mar 1821 in Richland Bottom, Howard Co., MO (Military Pension doc states: married at Richland bottom, Howard Co. MO on the 4th of March 1820) and they moved to the newly created Johnson County, Missouri. By 1850, they were living in the household of their son, William R Culley, in Post Oak, MO.

The current Grave marker (next to their son Thomas Jefferson Culley and his wife Susan), was purchased by James and Bonnie Culley, replacing the original stone.
