Funeral services for Charles Lane, 45, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at First Congregational church. The Rev. Norman McCallum will conduct the rites and burial will be in Mountain View cemetery. The American Legion, Archie Hay post, will conduct graveside services.

Friends may call at 145 Elk from 8 a.m. today and at the church after 8 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Lane, a World war II veteran, died Friday in the Veterans' hospital in Cheyenne. He was the husband of Opal Lane of Riverton and a son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Lane of Rock Springs.

He was born Dec. 17, 1913, in Rock Springs.

Other survivors are two sons and a daughter, Charles T. and Linda Darlene Lane, both of Riverton, and Harry L. Lane, airman stationed at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho; two grandchildren, a brother and a sister, Eugene Lane of Rock Springs and Evelyn Christensen of Billings, Mont.

Mr. Lane was a crusher operator at a uranium mill near Riverton where he lived in recent years.
