Frank 0. Schmoker, 75, life-long resident of Richland County died at his home at 309 South Fair Sunday evening.
Mr. Schmoker was born Sept. 8, 1896 in Richland County, the son of Caleb and Elizabeth Scherer Schmoker. On Oct. 31, 1965, he retired
from the U.S. Post Office after 32 years of employment. He was a
member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Olney Lodge No. 140 A.F.& A. M., Henry Godeke Chapter No. 38, Olney Council No. 55 and Gorin Commandery No. 14.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and very close friends, Rhodell and Gladys Sterchi. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Adam, Dan,Will, Fred and an infant, six sisters, Mrs. Louise Hammer, Mrs. Anna Schrey, Mrs. Ida Faris, Mrs. Harriett Mowrer, Mrs. Agnes Gardner, and Mrs. Mary Eyer.
Funeral services for Mr. Schmoker will be held in the chapel of the Zirkle Mortuary with Pastor John E. Kauffman officiating. Interment will be in the Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Masonic Section.
Friends may call at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home. Master Masons are asked to assemble at the Temple.
