When Felipe Aldrete Tijerina was born on May 26, 1888, in Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico, his father, Reyes Alderete Ortegon, was 35 and his mother, Romana Tijerina Vargas, was 26. He married Dolores Pool (*Chubbuck) Bermea on June 25, 1911, in Del Rio, Texas. They had 11 children in 22 years. He died on April 5, 1946, in Del Rio, Texas, at the age of 57, and was buried there.

Esperanza, Henriqueta, Odilia, Flavia, Herbert, Felipe,Jr, Cristobal, Cecilia, Lydia, George, Dolores.
