Marie was born the daughter of William and Marie Wichlep. Preceded in death by her twin sister Mabel Schneider and her daughter Beverly Anne Cearley. Survivors are a son, Barney W. Cearley and wife Nancy of Dickinson, Texas; a brother, retired Col. Bernard J. Wichlep and wife Dorothy Mae of San Antonio, Texas; four grandsons and their wives, Bernard Smith, Adrian Smith, Cameron Smith, Jr. and Kyle W. Cearley; three granddaughters, Carissa Smith, Susan Vestal and Lezlie Anastas and their husbands; numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved dog, 'Angel'. Marie retired from the Veterans Administration at the age of 70. She then went to work for her son at Montrose Tire Co. until the business was sold in 1988. Marie was an active member of the Hyde Park Civic Association in her community.
Marie will be buried beside her twin sister, Mabel. Pallbearers will be Barry H. Black, John Wichlep, John Bradshaw; also, Bernie Smith, Cameron Smith and Kyle Cearley. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Pavlovich, Bill L. Stewart, Lewis Ransopher and Rob Sorenson.
