Lewis Williams, Jr., age 81, of Glenwood, WV, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008, in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 24, 1926 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Lewis Jackson Williams, Sr. and Bertha P. Scarberry Williams.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, James Williams.

He was a retired farmer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He attended Spurlock Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include
his wife, Lillian Williams;
two daughters and a son-in-law, Valerie and Charles Mount of Glenwood and Janice White of Huntington, WV;
a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Loretta Williams of Lesage, WV;
eight grandchildren;
six great grandchildren;
one great great grandchild.

Funeral service at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, WV with Rev. Harvey Langdon officiating. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery, Cabell County, WV. VFW Post 9738 conducted Military Graveside Rites.
