CUTAIA, SALVATORE "UNCLE SAL" 78 - of Atlantic City, was called home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2011. Born in Delia, Sicily, Italy, Salvatore moved to Atlantic City in 1961 and was a resident of Atlantic City for the rest of his life. Sal was owner/operator of Cutaia General Construction for over 40 years. He was always of the belief that business was not about customers but about relationships. As a result, he had decades' long relationships with his customers that ultimately became lifelong friendships, along with so many friends he loved dearly. Sal is survived and will be deeply missed by his beloved sons, his daughter-in-law and his two precious granddaughters. He also leaves behind his loving brother and sister-in-law; two nephews and 3 nieces. He was reunited in Glory with his parents, Rosa & Lorenzo Cutaia and his sisters Angela Santangelo and Rosa Cutaia.
Visitation will be held from 9am-11am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea, on Friday, February 11, 2011. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing, NJ. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home.
