William Franklin Beamish, age 80, died Saturday, August 16, 1941, at the residence in Montrose. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, August 18, 1941, from the Madison Funeral Home, the Rev. Roy Johns officiating. Burial in Thetford Center cemetery. Body will be at the residence until 10 am Monday then taken to the funeral home. He was born in Saginaw county, March 23, 1861 and had lived in Montrose 12 years. Was married April 12, 1886 to Edith Florence Carnegie at Hemlock, Mich. He had been a lumberman. Surviving are: wife, Edith; 3 daughters, Mrs. Blanch Ross of Grand Blanc, Mrs. Cecil Lary of Flint, Mrs. Una Landskroener of Gladwin, Mich.; 3 sons, Grant of Clio, Glenn and Ray of Grand Blanc; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Edwin of Hemlock. Services by Charles M. Madison.
