Green River, Wyo - Mrs. Chasta Mariah (Maria or Marriah) Terry 80, died Friday at the home of a daughter here of causes incident to age. Born March 8, 1880 in Fairview, Utah the daughter of Lorenzo and Mary Nordstrom Peterson. She married Charles Alphonzo Terry Jr. May 18 1898 in the Manti L.D.S. temple, Manti, Utah. He died after a tree fell on him in the mountains at Burntfork, Wyo in 1925. She spent most of her life in McKinnon and Green River, Wyo. She was the mother of nine children; Cleo, Lela, Veloy, Mary (Mae), Merrill, Dean, Jex, Beth and Clair. She had 39 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren at the time of her death. Her funeral was held in the 1st and 2nd LDS ward chapel, Green River Wyoming. Burial was in McKinnon, Wyo on the Terry family ranch were she spent much of her life.
