Dorothy (Bailey) Howland, 94, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Belle Vernon and Pittsburgh, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Belle Vernon.
Born Nov. 4, 1908, in Mahaffey, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Overdorf Lemon. She was also preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Clyde P. Bailey in 1987, and Lewis S. Howland in 1995; and by a son, John L. Bailey in 1986.
Dorothy was a member of the West Newton Presbyterian Church, an associate member of the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, Fla., and a member of the Clearwater Country Club.
She was a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg with the class of 1929.
