Ella E. Dethlefs was born on February 8, 1907. On March 22, 1931 Ella was married to Herman Edward Boehnke, son of Carl and Mathilda (Dorrow) Boehnke, at St. John's Lutheran Chruch. To this union two children were born: one daughter, Charlotte on October 2, 1935 and a son, Lewis on January 27, 1944. Ella passed to her reward on March 22, 1967. Funeral services were held and burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.
