Dorothy Stepp, 75, of Omar, departed this life Sunday, March 13, 2011, at ARH South Williamson.
Born December 11, 1935, at Barnabus, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nora Blevins Thacker. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thatus Stepp.
Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter: Sharon (Randell) Maynard of Cow Creek; two sisters, Mary (Frank) Stepp of Varney and Sarah "Peggy" (Bert) Gibson of Meador; grandchildren: Matthew (Becky) Maynard, Sherrie Lynn (Glenn) Maynard and Jason Lee Maynard; step-grandson: Vinson Maynard, and geat-grandchildren, Scotty Edwards, Sarah Morris, Savannah Maynard, Cabel Maynard, Jayla Maynard, Dalton Maynard.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hatfield. Burial will follow at the Farley Stepp Cemetery at Delbarton.
