Robert's grave stone has long disappeared into the forest floor, if a stone exit it is in very deep forest debris. However, many other Grave markers are still readable and visible. Robert had a disability (deaf) and lived his entire life with his parents.
He came to Redwater Bowie county Texas with his fathers family and siblings in 1846, all the way from Union county South Carolina, where his grand father arrived from North Carolina in 1788.
His last Tax record was recorded in 1858, he had been on the tax poll from 1847-1858, however, he was on the 1860 Census, taken Jun 29, 1860, living with his parents, and is no longer recorded on the Tax records, we estimate that he died between 1860 and 1870.
