Elizabeth Brimbery & Thomas Lamb were married on December 13, 1827 in Crawford County, Illinois. they lived for a short time in Crawford County, then Edger County, Illinois. According to family history, they then moved to Texas in the Parker group. They first lived near the Parker Fort, then went to Walker County. They then settled in Limestone County where Thomas received a great amount of land and operated the L6 Ranch. Also, according to family history, Thomas was an original Texas Ranger. This has not been confirmed.


The Lamb Cemetery is located west of Interstate 35 and 2 miles northeast of the Woodland Cemetery at the intersection of county roads 1044 & 1051. A map from Freestone County Clerks Office showing the location is attached.
