According to family history, they then moved to Texas in the Parker group. They first lived near the Parker Fort, then went to Walker County. They then settled in Limestone County where Thomas received a great amount of land and operated the L6 Ranch. Also, according to family history, Thomas was an original Texas Ranger. This has not been confirmed.
