Hebron Journal dated 2-2-1912:
Frank Hartman (sic) was born in Neulininigen, Bavaria, Febr. 22, 1841, and died at Hebron, Nebr., Jan. 24, 1912, at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 2 days.
At the age of twenty-five years, he came to America and settled at New Albany, Ind., afterwards moving to Jeffersonville, Ind., where he was united in marriage to Miss Sophia Maurer, Nov. 10, 1871.
Nine children were born to them, four girls and five boys, of whom three girls and two boys, together with the widow, are left to survive him.
Thirty-four years ago, Mr. Hartman (sic) and family moved to Hebron, Nebr., and for thirty-two years lived in a house on Lincoln Avenue, and two years ago he moved the house to its present site, making a comfortable home for the family.
The funeral was held at the Catholic Church and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.
