WATERFORD MAN KILLED IN ROUTE 50 ACCIDENT
A Waterford man was killed early Sunday morning when he was thrown from his airborne car on Route 50.


Edward A. Bourgeois, 31, of Waterford, was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:55 a.m. Sunday at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady (New York).
Mr. Bourgeois was employed as a slitter at the Norlon Company in Watervliet (New York). He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Waterford.


His is survived by his wife, the former Rosemary Wright; as son, Matthew Bourgeois, a daughter, Anne Bourgeois; his parents, Albert and Madeline (Berthiaume) Bourgeois of Waterford; a sister, Mrs. Paul Ouimet of Cohoes; and a brother, Donald Bourgeois of Waterford.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Ernest L. Dufresne Funeral Home, 282 Remsen St., Cohoes and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church where a Mass of the Resurrection will be offered. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
