Mrs. Roy A. (Olene) Gould, 2809 NE Thompson St., died Monday night at the family residence after a lingering illness. She was the treasurer of the Atlas Logging Co. and the Diamond Lumber Co., of which her husband is president.
Mrs. Gould was born at Hartville, Mo. and attended schools at Springfield, Mo., prior to moving to Longview, Wash. where she was married in 1941 to Mr. Gould. Mr. and Mrs. Gould lived at Mayfield, Wash., and Glenwood, Ore. before moving to Portland nine years ago.
Mrs. Gould was a member of the Englewood Christian Church in Portland and the PEO Sisterhood.
She leaves in addition to the widower, her mother, Mrs. J. M. Bentley and a sister, Mrs. Loleta Sackman, both of Portland.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Colonial Mortuary. Interment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
