Suicide – Last Friday morning John Kalouse, living just east of town, while looking after his stock in the pasture, noticed a cap and blouse on a rock near a small creek. On approaching the creek near the clothing he saw the body of a man in the water which he recognized as John Wolf, a brother of William Wolf, of this township. The relatives were notified and Coroner Paul telephoned. The coroner came over in the afternoon and after impaneling a jury proceeded to the scenes of the tragedy. The facts ere elicited that the deceased was about fifty years of age, unmarried and lived with his brother, William Wolf; that he was subject to fits of melancholy and depression, that he left Mr. Wolf's place the Tuesday evening before and was not seen alive after that date, it was thought by those who saw the body that it had been in the water several days.
