Zion - A 75-year old man who had the flu last week and had a history of a heart condition, apparently suffered a sudden attack yesterday afternoon and died.
Albert Brandt, 2618 Elim Ave., died at 1 p.m. in his home. When he suffered the attack, Zion police and inhalator squads were called.
Born Oct 20, 1881, in Brighton Wis., he came to Zion in 1945. He was employed as a janitor in the Zion Bowling Lanes. He had been retired for the past four and a half years because of a heart condition.
Mr Brandt is survived by two sons, Harry and Charles, both of Waukegan; four daughters, Mrs Emma Kirk, Zion; Mrs Florence Tuck {Turk}, Waukegan; Mrs Helen Kimberlin, North Chicago; and Mrs Alice Stover, of Dixon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel, 3012 Sheridan Rd., with the Rev Walter Wulff of the Zion Bible Mission officiating. Burial will be in the Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago.
Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.
