AMERICAN FALLS - John Lionel "Bud" Halling, 84, American Falls, died Saturday in a Denver, Colorado hospital following an extended illness. He was born October 18, 1900 in Murray, Utah to John and Effie J. Halling. He lived in Ogden, Utah for many years and worked as a warehouse foreman at Hill Air Force Base until his retirement in 1961.
Survivors include two sons, C.J. "Jack" Halling, American Falls; Jesse Lee Halling, Broomfield, Colorado; one brother, Russell Halling, Rockland; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Averl) Freeman and Mrs. Harold (Josephine) Permann, both of Rockland; Mrs. Wayne (Lorraine) Stout, American Falls; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Rockland LDS Church. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Rockland.
