William Fitz Dead
William Fitz of Putnam Hill, died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at the residence of his nephew Cyrus Gilbert Mears of Alexandria. The deceased went to Alexandria last Saturday a week to visit his sister Jane Fitz Spencer and on Sunday became ill. He is survived by his daughter Mrs.Ida (Arthur) Vogel with whom he made his home, a sister Mrs. Jane Spencer of Alexandria and a brother Samuel Fitz of Springfield. the remains were brought to this city for burial-Zanesville Times Recorder
