A graveside funeral service for Aurora, Colorado resident, Doris L. Cruikshank will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday September 21, 2011 at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar. Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church will officiate the service.
Visitation for Ms. Cruikshank will be held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Tuesday September 20, 2011 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.
Ms. Cruikshank was born on January 12, 1916 in Buhl, Idaho to Lewis P. Cruikshank and Josephine M. (Gruber) Cruikshank and departed this life on Thursday September 15, 2011 at her home in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 95.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers – Kenny Cruikshank and Chet Cruikshank.
Doris is survived by one niece – Carolyn (John) Day of Pembroke Pines, FL; by one nephew – Gene (Sharon) Cruikshank of Lamar; by two great nieces – Suzie Day of Florida; and Dawn Morten of Frederick, CO; and by one great nephew – Bart Cruikshank of Lamar; also surviving are a host of friends.
