Iliness Fatal To Mrs. Mynell Sieb

Death Tuesday morning at 1:15 at a Laurel hospital claimed Mrs. Mynell Walters Sieb, 57, former resident here but for the past 13 years employed in the offices of the Quartermasters General of the United States Army at Washington.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning from Parkview Baptist church with the
REv. Carroll F. Jackson and the Rev. Z.W. Swafford officiating.
Interment will follow in Hickory Grove cemetery with the Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born and reared here, Mrs. Seib was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. M. Walters, pioneer residents of this city.She completed her elementary schooling in Laurel and graduated from Collage Hill High School, at Oxdford, Miss., where her uncle, the late Millard Bush, was superintendent.
Following her high school graduation and further study, she became dietitian at the Ellisville Jones County Junior College and worked in that capacity 18 years, until her employment in the offices of the Quartermaster General.
During her resdidence in Laurel, she lived at 910 Tenth avenue. She was widely known in this section.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Mrs. Sieb returned here last December 29 for a visit with relatives and friends and took medical treatment, and underwent surgery 3 weeks ago.
She leaves her husband, Fred Sieb, Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs.Fredia McDougle, Black Mountain, N.C.
Five sisters, Mrs. A.F. Houston, Grove, Oklahoma; Mrs. Floy Calloway and Mrs. Earl Fudge, both of Oxford,Miss.; Mrs. H.J. Walters, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Annie J. Chambers, Laurel; two stepsisters, Mrs. Mary
W.Davis and Mrs. Effie Walters, both of Wiggins;
two brothers R.J. Walters, and C.V. Walters, both also of Wiggins; Two aunts, Mrs. R.C. Johnston, Laurel; and Mrs. Margaret Galloway, Cumberland, Ky.; three grandchildren, Robert McDougle, Lawrence McDougle and James McDougle.
Two of Mrs. Sieb's nieces, Mrs. Mary Lee Quinnelley and Mrs. Frank Little, resdide here.
Named as active pallbearers are Buddy Ainsworth, Perry Johnston, Lloyd Quinnelley, W. D. Bush, Deavours Bush and Gayle Little.
Included as homorary pallbearers are Dr. Eugene Bush, Dr. R.L. Alexander, Dr. Bill Weems, Grover Doggette, Carroll Gartin, Bob Gartin, Mundell Bush, J.B. Young and H.L. Mayfield, Sr.
The body lies within a Thompson chapel to await the funeral hour.
