Louis Eugene "Buddy" Bush, 64, of North Street, died Wednesday at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. He was a culinary arts assistant at Laurel Heights Hospital in Shelton, Conn., for many years. Born in Shelton, he was a past chief of the New England Coastal Schaghticoke Indian Association and a promoter of American Indian culture. He leaves his wife, five sons, two daughters, three brothers, two sisters, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at noon Saturday at O'Connell Funeral Home of Northampton, with burial to be scheduled in Hilltop Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01105.
