Ken County California Highway Patrol officer said the vehicle skidded on a sharp curve hit a rock and the victim was thrown 3 feet into a wooden gate.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Borges 1711 Ave 216, and the husband of Rosemary Borges, Porterville.
Funeral arrangement are pending at Miller's Tulare funeral Home.

Obituary……Joseph Borges: The Rosary for Joseph D. (Junior) Borges, 33, Porterville will be recited in Miller's Tulare unreal Chapel Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The funeral mass will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius Catholic Church and burial will be in Tulare Cemetery.
Borges, a native of Tulare was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday near Bakersfield. He was the owner-manager of Joe Borges Motorcycles, Porterville and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church there.
He is survive by his wife Rosemary, two sons, David Joseph and Anthony and a daughter Anamari, all of Potterville; His parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Borges, a brother Richard Borges, and a sister Mrs. Donald (Louise) McGrew; His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Borges all of Tulae, and a sister Mrs. Albert(Arlene) Mulder, of Schenectady, N.Y.
