Mrs. Ellen Adams Died Last Friday

Mrs. Ellen Adams widow of the late Vincent Adams, pioneers of our city, died at her home on State Street, Friday evening about seven o'clock.
About a year and a half ago Mrs. Adams suffered a hard fall, breaking a limb and from that time on her health has been steadily failing, although she has been able to be about her home until a week before her death, when serious heart trouble developed which was more than her weakened condition could stand.
Mrs. Adams was born in Union a small town in the southern part of the state seventy-five years ago, and for over fifty years of her life has been a resident of Cheboygan County. Mr. Adams passed away about twelve years ago.
Deceased was a member of the local Methodist church and was a quite home loving disposition, and her friend, were numbered by her
Acquaintances.
One son Clyde Adams who has lived with and cared for his mother for several years past is left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. One brother and one sister both living in southern Michigan but unable to come on account of failing health, are also left to mourn the passing of the deceased.
The funeral was held from the home on Sunday afternoon and burial was made in Pine Hill Cemetery beside the husband and father. Rev. Perham of the Baptist church officiating.
