LONG BRANCH -- Mrs. John Kingsland Pearsall, 87, of 201 Patterson Ave., Shrewsbury, the widow of John Pearsall, died Tuesday in Westwood Hall Nursing Home, Long Branch.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Mary Jane Rogers Kingsland, a former resident of Long Branch. Mrs. Pearsall was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church, North Long Branch, the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary of Shrewsbury, the Shrewsbury Community Club, and of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
Surviving are a son, Joseph I. Pearsall, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Glassey, both of Little Silver and Mrs. Abbey Clayton of Oakhurst, and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in West Long Branch, under the direction of the Flock Funeral Home, 243 Broadway.
