Funeral services for W. T. Ford, Jr., 64, of West Monroe who died Tuesday at St. Francis Medical Center after a long illness, were at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe with the Rev. George Bonner officiating.

Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Columbia.

Mr. Ford was a native of Caldwell Parish. He was a retired store manager at A&P, a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II and a member of Cypress Baptist Church in West Monroe.

Survivors include: His wife, Mrs. Margie Ford of Monroe; two sons, John Ford of Monroe and Tommy Ford of West Monroe; a daughter, Pat Arrant of Rocky Branch; a stepson, Gene Wallace of Monroe; three stepdaughters, Brenda Payne and Ann Hixon, both of Monroe and LaNell Netherland of Dallas; a sister, Beatrice Fisher of Columbia; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: James Bonnett, R. C. Crain, Hubert Griffin, LeRoy Avery, Ray Procell and Reggie Parham.

Visitation was on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
