Harold Tipton, age 63 of the Lower Tuskeegee community of Robbinsville, NC, passed away, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Elijah and IvaLee Daniels Tipton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clell Tipton, Arnold Tipton, and his sister, Virgie Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Leona Boston Tipton; daughters and their husbands, Lora and Charlie Beeler of Hayesville, NC, Karen and Tim Sellers of Robbinsville, NC; sons and their wives, Ted and Crystal Jenkins of Waynesville, NC, Chris and Mavis Jenkins of Robbinsville, NC, and Harold Jr. and Tracy Tipton of Tuskeegee, NC; brother, Chester Tipton of Dayton, OH; and Sister, Maggie Rhyne of Cincinnati, OH. He has 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
