Mrs. Edna Jenkins, 78, Eugene, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Hartman of Kansas City, where she had been visiting.
She was born July 12, 1882, to Samuel M. and Katie Engelbrecht Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 230 pm today in the Hickory Hill Baptist Church on Highway 54. The Rev. Mr. Winchel of Eugene will officiate. Burial will be in the Eugene Cemetery.
Besides Mrs. Hartman, Mrs. Jenkins is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Georgia Stigall of Kansas City, Mrs. Logan Binkley of St. Louis and Miss Lucille Jenkins of Eugene; a son, Monroe Jenkins of Sitka, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Oscar Abbett of Tuscumbia; a brother, Howard Jackson of Sapulpa, Okla.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles, died some 20 years ago.
