SOPERTON -- Rayford Durden, 80, died May 16 at a Vidalia hospital.
The native of Treutlen County was retired. He was a Baptist and the widower of Oreta Herndon Durden.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Richard Durden of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Keith Durden of Hollywood, Fla. ; five sisters, Jessie Smith of Dublin, Mollie Green of Lizella, Mary Hutchenson of Lizella, Laura Graham of Soperton and Trudy Hooks of Soperton; and two brothers, Roy Durden and Fred Durden, both of Soperton.
