Mr. H.L. Orr died Feb. 3 at his home in the Copperas Spring neighborhood. He was born Oct. 19, 1874, died Feb. 3, 1937. Thus, making him 63 years, 3 months and 15 days old. H.L. Orr was the son of K.P. Orr. He was a man of his word, a true neighbor, a faithful father and husband, and was well known throughout the county.
He was united in marriage in 1897 to Miss Zilpha Drennan. To this union were born ten children eight of which are living. He leaves to mourn their loss, a wife, Mrs. Zilpha Orr, one daughter, Elsie Orr, Detroit, Mich.; Leslie, Lynn, and Leman Orr, of this county; Lacy Orr of Evansville, Ind.; Glen, Clem and Arthur, of Detroit, Mich.; six grandchildren; one sister; four brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.
