Grace Liggett, 93 formerly of Fort Scott died Saturday at Malvern, Arkansas. She was born January 14, 1891 at Colony, Kansas, the daughter of Beachum and Sarepta Johnson Rhodes.
She married Clarence W. Liggett in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa, on May 1, 1912. Clarence was the son of John Liggett and Ada Jones Liggett. He died March 20, 1976.
Survivors include three grandsons: Harold Liggett, Jr., Darrell Liggett and Mike Liggett. She was preceded in death by her only son, Howard Beachum Liggett. Graveside services were held at Evergreen Cemetery.
