Norman S Francisco, 51, Amsterdam, died early Sunday morning at the Bathgate Hospital, Stamford, where he had been a patient since Friday.

Mr Francisco was born in the Town of Florida, July 19, 1904, a son of Walter H and Clara Beyer Francisco.

On Jan 3, 1945, Mr Francisco and his family were victims of a tragic fire which destroyed their home and resulted in the deaths of his wife, Ruth and three of their eight children. Mr. Francisco himself was badly burned and was in critical condition for many days.

Surviving Mr. Francisco is his wife, the former Ada J. Kowalski, whom he married 10 years ago; three daughters, Mrs Robert Dopp, Miss Viola Francisco and Miss Lucy Francisco, two sons Aaron S and Gordon N, and his father Walter H Francisco, all of the Town of Florida; eight brothers, Ralph J., William K., and Floyd W., Johnstown, Harry e., Arnold R., Walter M. and LaVerne C., Town of Florida and William K., Amsterdam, two granchildren Carolyn and Cheryl Dopp, along with aunts, uncles, cousins.
