Mrs Theresa Kullmer, pioneer resident of Dysart, passed away at the home of her daughter, DR and Mrs H J von Lackum in Dysart on Jan. 12 1929 at the age of 93 years.
Theresa Mokert was born Sept. 15 1835 in Bietigheim Amt Rastadt, Grosherrzogthum, Baden, Germany. She arrived in American Jan 14 1859, first living in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. In 1864, she went to Lee Center Ill, and its was there that she married John Kullmer on Dec. 28 1864. Mr and Mrs Kullmer resided at Lee center where he conducted a tailoring business until on Sept 1874, when then came to Dysart. They were among the pioneer setters of Dysart. Mr Kullmer passes away Sept. 5 1915, at the advanced age of 90 years.
Funeral services were held in the First Evangelical church in Dysart on Jan 14, 1929 with Rev. K Kaupp officiating. Burial was in Dysart Cemetery.
