Nancy Nana Wyatt, 80, of Langleyville died at 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2004, in her home.
She was born January 23, 1924, in Langleyville, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Picchi Poletti. She married Harold J. "Corky" Wyatt in 1946, in Taylorville. He died December 27, 1988. She worked at Sangamon Paper Company in Taylorville for 25 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Taylorville and a member of Legion of Mary.
Surviving are her daughter, Cathy (husband Chris) Cox of Taylorville; grandchildren: Joe (wife Kara) Norris of Langleyville, Terra Tomazzoli of Springfield and Tina Tomazzoli of Taylorville; five great-grandchildren; sisters: Josephine Scanavino, Lena Kastelic and Ida McMahan, all of Kincaid; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Primo Poletti; and sister, Rose Sitki.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Taylorville, with Father Alan Hunter and Father Martin O'Hara officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, in Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, with Wake Service at 8:00 p.m.
