Mrs. Hazel C. Stevens 70, of Dixon and formerly of Hillsdale, died early Saturday morning in the Dixon Community Hospital. Services were yesterday morning in the Preston Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery here. Mrs. Stevens was born Jan. 30, 1894 in Hillsdale, the daughter of Frank and Fannie Johnson. She was reared and attended schools here. She had been employed by the National Cleaners, Dixon. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and organizations affiliated with the church, and the Dixon Eastern Star chapter and Shrine. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Nettie Browning of East Moline, and four nephews.
