OBITUARY
Bernard Fallon was born in County Roscommon, Ireland, about ninety years ago and died at his home in Eyota Monday morning, June 7, at seven o'clock.
He was the third oldest of a large family of brothers and sisters, who, together with their father and mother, left the land of their birth to make their new home in America, arriving in Dodge Center about 54 years ago. About a year prior to that time he was united in marriage with Miss Cecelia Connors, who passed away in October, 1894. On February 7, 1898, he married Mrs. Mary McAdams who survives him and who has been a loving helpmeet all these years, and a tender nurse during his illness lasting over a period of fourteen years.
He is also survived by two brothers, Garret of Rochester, and Mark of Eyota, and one sister, Maria of Winona, besides many nephews and nieces. Always a devout member of the Catholic church, he died peacefully fortified by all her sacraments.
The funeral was held at 9 o'clock from the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Eyota, on Wednesday. Father Murphy celebrated the mass. The remains were laid to rest by the side of his father, mother and first wife in St. John's cemetery at Rochester, John and Timothy Cassidy, Matthew Keefe, Bernard Mulligan, Michael Campbell, and Jerry Walsh acting as pall bearers.
