Alfreda H. Rampton

BOUNTIFUL -- Mrs. Alfreda Hansen Rampton, 74, of Bountiful, formerly of Brigham City, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter in Woods Cross after a stroke.

Mrs. Rampton was born March 30, 1891, in Brigham City, a daughter of James and Christena Peterson Hansen. She was married to John R. Rampton on Sept. 27, 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Sept. 4, 1944.

She was active in the LDS Church.

Surviving are one son and daughter, John R. Jr., Bountiful; Mrs. Curtis S. (Lucille) Perry, Woods Cross; one stepson and three stepdaughters, Ralph L., Layton; Mrs. Moyle E. (Ruth) Duce, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. R. D. (Wilma) Hughes, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Frank (Maxine) Pausic, Los Angeles; 15 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lona Peterson, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Bountiful First-Sixth LDS Ward Chapel, Center and Main. Friends may call at the Union Mortuary in Bountiful Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Burial in Bountiful Memorial Park.
