Darius was one of the founders of The First Baptist Church. Darius also built and own several ships. The son of Lt James Frisbie and Sarah. According to family reconds Lt James was killed in the naval battle between the John Paul Jones ship the BonHomme Richard and HMS Serapis. He was buried at sea of the coast of Flamborough England
