OBITUARY: Mrs. Lillie Abbott - Wenona - Mrs. Lillie Abbott, 72, of Wenona, died Tuesday in Deer's Head Center, Salisbury, after a short illness. Born here, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary Taylor White. Her first husband was the late Johnny White. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Chance. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Anna Kelly, Johnny White, and Thomas Abbott, Wenona, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Princess Anne, Earl White, Allen, William Abbott, Salisbury, and Guilford Abbott, Easton; 23 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; ans several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Webster Funeral Home, Deal Island. The Rev. Jack Wright will officiate. Assisting will be the Rev. Joy Nicholson and the Rev. Stewart Savage. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. (The Daily Times, Wednesday, 15 June 1977, p. 9)
