Rap Musician. Spruill was a member of the rap musical group, 'The Spooks' along with members, Ming Xia, Hypno, Vengeance, and Mr. Booka T. A former basketball star at Deptford High School and St. Carthage School Spruill grew up in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a senior in 1991, at Deptford High School he was named to the Gloucester County Area Basketball Coaches Association all-star team. After graduation, he attended Bloomfield College on a basketball scholarship and later played at Salem Community College. He also attended West Chester University, where he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. After becoming a member of 'The Spooks' he produced the group's debut album, "S.I.O.S.O.S Volume 1" in 1999, on the Artemis Records Label, and the re-released version in 2001. The album was a huge success in Europe, going to gold in France, Sweden, Germany, and Belgium. The album didn't do much in the United States, but the band released the single, 'Things I've Seen,' to get attention in the United States, but again the single didn't fair well, and the group broke up shortly after. Spruill went onto a solo career, but he was killed in a car accident in Washington, D.C. on September 20, 2003, at the age of 30. The groups recordings include, 'Other Script,' 'The Mission,' 'They Don't Know,' 'I Got U,' 'Flesh Not Bone,' 'Sweet Revenge,' 'Deep Cutz,' 'Karma Hotel,' 'Safe House/Calling You,' 'Something Fresh/Mama Used To Say,' 'Swindley's Maracas,' and 'Murder.'
