Josephine A. (Bozich) Cyprys, 85, Columbus, formerly of Monon, died at 4:56 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 at Hospice of South Central Indiana, Inc., Columbus.

She was born in Chicago, Ill. on April 24, 1922 to George Bozich and Amanda Simotovich. She married on June 25, 1942 in Chicago, Ill., to Chester Adam Cyprys. He died in 1974.

Survivors include daughter, Diane M. (David) Wiley, Columbus; sister, Anne (Hillis) Heims, Monon; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is 2:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Monticello. Services are at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Father James Goodrum officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Reynolds, on Thursday.

Memorials may be given to the Monon Volunteer Fire Department and First Response or to the Hospice of South Central Indiana, Inc.
