Mrs. Margret Augusta of Oakley succumbed at 7:30 a.m. today in Antioch General hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Augusta was the widow of the late Joseph M. Augusta who died last December and who for many years operated a lumber yard in Oakley.
She was the mother of Mrs. Mabel Dutra, Mrs. Louise Allington, Mrs Marjorie Chastek, all of Oakley Earl Augusta of Hayward, Lawrence Augusta of Walnut Grove, and the late Leonard Augusta. Thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Higgins Funeral Home here.
