Only slightly injured in the tornado that swept South Pekin ten days ago, Mrs. Anna Yates Adams, of that city, formerly of Springfield, died Friday of injuries received in an automobile accident last Sunday west of Chenoa. Mrs. Adams succumbed at 9:25 a.m. in St. James hospital at Pontiac from hurts which were incurred when her car collide with another car. Riding with Mrs. Adams were her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Righter. Remains of Mrs. Adams were brought to Springfield yesterday and taken to Ellinger & Kunz funeral home, where funeral services will be held Monday. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains cemetery.
