Debbie York was born in Gary,Indiana to Edith and Paul York. She only lived 43 short years. Alcohol and drugs took her life in February 2003.We didn't know but she had cancer and with no medical insurance, she lost hope in finding help. She went home to be with our dad Paul York who passed in 1972. Debbie was a bright woman who was out going and vibrant. All who knew her loved her.Her untimely death has left her family devastated. Those left to survive are,Husband Paul Mojica, Mother Edith Campbell,3 Brothers, Kenny,Greg and Ronnie York and Sister and best friend Pamela York Hutchison. All from Gary and 4 nieces,Cynthia Pitman Ard ,Allison Pitman, Amanda Pitman Taylor, all from Lake Station,Indiana. Gina York of Portage. Four Nephews,Matt Pitman Of Lake Station In. Kenny York,Michael York and Adam York Of Portage In.Debbie graduated with high honors from Commonwealth Business College in June of 2000. Debbie always maintained a 4.00 GPA. She received several Academic Dean Awards. But one thing is sure,Debbie had in early years accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior. On her death bed she saw an angel who awaited to take her home and now she is present with our Lord Jesus Christ and all who are saved will see her again, I know I will. There are also Three little angels who stand by theirselves and they are Debbies greatnieces, Alyssa Nicole and Kaylee Fae, and our newest addition, Debbie's great nephew Patrick Mark. Another angel has blessed our lives, my grand daughter Emily and Debbie's great niece who was born on Debbies Birthday. August 13,2009 Debbie had another great niece Isabella Faith and a great nephew Alan born on September 2,2009 and lived 5 hours, he is now home with Debbie. A new great niece was born on December 26, 2010, Jade Elizabeth Shannon we welcomed into this world. I am sure Debbie has seen her. I miss her terribly, she wasn't just my sister, she was my best friend.
