Born in Czarist Russia to Eliazer and ? Kafman. Thought to have left from Wurtemberg, Germany and emigrated to USA in 1872. Moved to NYC; met and married Isaac Morris Meyers, a Polish Jew. Had 11 children. Moved to Louisville, Kentucky. After husband died, children were placed in orphanage. She would reunite with them when she was able to. Later, she settled in LA with her children and remained there until she died.

Inscription
According to Keneseth Israel Synagogue Rabbi, her stone reads "The modest woman, Rivkah, (Rebecca), daughter of Eliezer, passed away 20 Sivan in the year 5700. May her soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life". (Rabbi converted the Hebrew death date to read June 25, 1940, which I told him was not her death date.
