Ruby L. Michael, 75, died Saturday in Chrystal's Country Home where she had been a resident for 3 years.
She was a life-long resident of Muncie and was formerly employed at Ball Brothers before retiring in 1969.
Mrs. Michael was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Home League of the Salvation Army. She also was a Silver Star Mother of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are four sons, Richard Longfellow, Cleveland, Ohio, Chester Longfellow, Carolos Longfellow, and Robin Michael, all of Muncie; seven daughters, Patti Hirst, Virginia Witted, Peggy Witted, and Sherry Anderson, all of Muncie, Barbara Thomas, Gardenia, Calif., Linda Palmer, Brentwood, Tenn., and Sally Michael, Eldorado, Kan.; a brother, Fred McClellan, Muncie; a sister, Berniece McClellan, Muncie; 42 grandchildren, and 46 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel with Capt. Robert Reasoner officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
